Chiara is 9 months
How quickly time flies by! It was just six months ago that I was looking at an 8-month-old baby girl thinking that she no longer looked liked an infant! And just yesterday Emi said that Chiara is sometimes starting to look like a little girl.
What a sweet fight against time it is for me! Every day, since she was born, I have wished for Chiara to become a little older so that her current fussyness will no longer be a problem. Yet, looking back, I find that things seem to get harder as she grows up: she (and we as a result) is sleeping less, she is mobile and can quickly get in trouble, and she recently had her first fever and bout of eczema.
I am still waiting for her first teeth.
